Breakout Session #1

Connected Planning: The Power of Aligning Strategy, Finance, and Execution

Speakers: Edward Roske & Marc Seewald

At most organizations, the financial plan is done separately from the sales plans, the operational plans, the strategic plans... and rarely do they ever talk. In an organization optimized for agility and success, every aspect of the planning process flows from the one before. The strategic plan drives targets down to the financial plan. The financial plan gives budget goals to the sales plan.

The sales plan drives need for the operational plan. The operational plan analyzes constraints and then feeds back up the chain.

In this session, we'll talk through Connected Planning (sometimes known as Integrated Business Planning), the value it provides, and how to get started creating it. Connected Planning in Oracle is possible... and we'll show you the way.

Speaker: Chris Maurio

Whether you're looking to start an implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM or are already live, one of the key metrics to determine a successful deployment is whether you achieved enterprise-wide system adoption. This is accomplished by not focusing solely on technology but taking an approach that revolves around process and usability. You already know how intuitive Oracle Cloud is, but guiding employees and managers to the exact path they need is the key to adoption.

You can also safeguard your system against normal resource attrition through embedding all of your HRIS processes into an admin Journey portal.
