Belkin wanted an advanced demand and supply planning tool to support its CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) business processes. Oracle Cloud SCM was chosen for its ability to provide sophisticated NPI planning, sell-in/sell-through forecasting, constrained supply planning, and automated order allocation. Oracle Supply Planning and Demand Management have been implemented, with Global Order Promising, and Backlog Management to come. The goal is to migrate EBS to a full Oracle Cloud Applications environment and improve customer service while reducing supply chain costs through better inventory visibility and purchasing processes. A process-based approach helps ensure planning teams across all continents come under one umbrella of common standardized process.
